The Side Accent Trim is a thin strip of stainless steel about 3/4" wide elegantly highlights the silhouette of your thunderbird.

INSTALLATION
Full 3M Acrylic Foam Backing for permanent adhesion.

Note From Aaron Scott, Owner: As you can read from the testimonial from Joe; he had a common problem with the end piece of this Side Accent Trim. The problem is that it will pull away from your Tbird in time if you don't make a minor adjustment.

There is a solution to this problem. Before adhering this Side Accent Trim to your Tbird, you must first bend the piece (at the end towards the trunk) to match the contour of your Tbird's side panel. This way, it will not pull away over time because it's going to now match your Tbird's body panel curve. Also, you will need to twist the end a little bit as well. The end was twisted because of the stamping of process of this part when it was manufacturered. It gave it a slight twist.... you will have to twist it back to match your Tbird's side panel curve. To know if you got this right, you will dry fit the piece against the side panel and if it lays flush against the panel with all parts contacting, then you know it will stick with no problems in the future.
