What are the Ford Thunderbird Skirts?

The Ford Thunderbird Classic Skirts are reminesent of the famous best looking 1955 -1957 Tbirds. These Ford Thunderbird Skirts are made of fiberglass. This 'retro-look' skirt kit installs without bodywork and includes all mounting hardware and detailed installation instructions.

Note from Thunderbird Concepts owner Aaron Scott: Recently I have had several complaints with this product not fitting perfect. Some people are happy with these custom Skirts and some are not. I guess it's a matter of how picky you are? I haven't tried them on my Tbird yet, so I cannot give you a full review. I like the way they look. There is only one manufacturer that makes these, so if you wanted skirts, this is your only option.

"Last September 10-16, 2007, The International Thunderbird Club held its 14th annual convention in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  The convention was attended by a couple of hundred Thunderbird enthusiasts and their beloved Thunderbirds.  Needless to say, it was breathtaking to see all of those beautiful birds gathered together in one spot for the convention!  Every model year was represented.  I entered my Thunderbird Concepts accessorized '03 "MS TRISS" in the formal judging competition.  It was the first time I had ever entered my TBird in any auto show event.  Much to my delight, and surprise, I was awarded a First Place trophy in the Touring Modified Class!  That was quite a proud moment, thanks in part to modification accessories from Thunderbird Concepts!"

Answer: Yes, you can return it to us, but you would have to pay the shipping costs to send it back and that is around $29.00 and it would have to be unpainted of course.

Question: Is installation hard and does it come with instructions?.

Answer: This Skirts installation is easy. A solid pin in the back holds into place while side "ears" slide into position on the sides. Installs into existing holes. Comes with full instructions.

Question: Are there any modifications I need to do.

Answer: Drilling one hole on the inside that you will never see. We recommend having their mechanic or painter install them.

Question: What is it made of?

Answer: Hand-laid fiberglass

Question: How much does it weigh?

Answer: Approximately 3 pounds each.

Question: If I order the Skirts, how long will it take to be delivered. I

Answer: We ship the Tbird Skirts out via UPS Ground and it would take 5 business days for delivery from here in California to Ohio.
